Yes, it looks better.

But Hans, surely it not something as simple as where they put the badge that has you not liking the R8.

Oh come-on Hans, it isn't that bad. I remember slating the BMW 3 series coupe when the photos were released, but have to admit that when I saw it in the fresh, it's actually quite beautiful.

I agree that from some angles it's only OK, but from others it's drop dead gorgous. Small things like the engine bay are pure genius, but the interior in my opinion doesn't work as well as the TT, but it's still well ahead of the rest.

Please tell me what's wrong with the car, were all friends here and everyone values your opinion.:thumb:

Interior is a mess.
Awefull big side mirrors.

Sorry for asking.:hihi:

Headlights. (I personally like them)
Grill without Audi rings. (Agreed I like yours better)
Front hood. (Can't see whats wrong here)
Front side and rear air vents. (Again don't see whats wrong)
Rear side windows blocked by Panel. (Agreed, but I think will suit it when seen in the fresh)
Interior is a mess. (Agreed, not their best)
Awefull big side mirrors. (Needed to see those M6 drifting into the distance):D
Engine + sound. (Remember there will be a V10)
Weigth. (It's an Audi so comfort is also important)
R-Tronic. (Yes, why not wait until DSG is ready)

Phew, I thought it was serious and you didn't like the car at all.:brag:

Hood: is to flat, not like the "Le Mans Quattro Concept" and "RSQ"
Air vents: I don't like the bars in them.
Weight: A gallardo weight 1430 Kg.

Hans,

Now your just picking things to hate for the hell of it. Don't like the bars, what else could you put there that would look as good and don't say honeycomb, please.

The weight I personally don't have a problem with, if it is a true weight then it's at least 300kg lighter than an M5 and should easily match it acceleration times, now unless things have changed recently, the M5 is one hell of a quick car. It got a weight balance as good as a Cayman and it was just voted Best Handling Car for 2006 by both Autocar and Autoexpress, so basically it should handle a lot better than an M6.

The only view of the car I really don't like is the side view. With the front windscreen having less rake than the Gallardo it makes the cab area look to big and not as nice as the TT which looks the opposite. But as for the rest, it's all good.

Grill without Audi rings.

Hans.

Why the stretch? The racecar it is named after had the rings in the same spot.;)

Nah, the R8 looks much better with the rings above the grill. Perfection.
